Disclaimer
GlobalKit provides free calculators and tools for general, everyday use. This page explains what that means in practice: what our tools can and can't do, and what you should keep in mind before relying on a result.
General
Every calculator and tool on GlobalKit produces its result from the inputs you provide, using a formula or method we document on that tool's own page. The output is general information, not professional advice of any kind — medical, financial, legal, tax, or otherwise. No advisory relationship is created by using this site, and no result should be treated as a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your specific situation.
Health tools
Tools such as the BMI calculator use simple, widely known formulas based on the numbers you enter — for example, height and weight. These formulas don't account for muscle mass, body composition, age-specific ranges, pregnancy, medical conditions, or anything else a doctor would consider. A result outside a "normal" range is not a diagnosis, and a result inside it is not a clean bill of health. If you have a health concern, discuss it with a doctor or other qualified healthcare provider rather than acting on a calculator result alone.
Finance tools
Tools such as VAT, loan payment, and compound interest calculators are built on standard formulas and, where relevant, on publicly available rates we try to keep current. Results are estimates: they don't account for every fee, exemption, rounding rule, or edge case a bank, accountant, or tax authority might apply to your specific case, and tax rates and financial rules change over time. Before making a financial decision, borrowing money, or filing taxes, confirm the actual figures with your bank, accountant, or the relevant tax authority.
Accuracy and limitations
We test our calculators and document the formula, rounding rule, and any assumptions behind each one directly on that tool's page. We correct errors when they're reported. Even so, we don't guarantee that any result is complete, current, or error-free for your specific situation — software can have bugs, formulas can be misapplied to a case they weren't meant for, and rates can change faster than we update them. Use the tools as a convenience, and verify anything you plan to rely on.
Your responsibility
You use GlobalKit's tools at your own discretion and risk. To the extent permitted by law, GlobalKit is not liable for decisions made, or losses incurred, based on a result shown on this site. This limitation doesn't exclude rights that can't be excluded under applicable consumer protection law.
