Privacy policy

This policy describes what data GlobalKit ("we", "us") handles when you use globalkit.app, and what we do not handle. GlobalKit is a set of free online tools. It has no accounts, no sign-up and no database of users.

What stays on your device

Calculators and other tools run entirely in your browser. The numbers, dates or text you enter are processed on your device to produce the result. They are not sent to our servers and we cannot see them.

The site stores two small preferences in your browser's local storage so you don't have to set them again: your region (for example, which country's tax rate a calculator defaults to) and your theme (light, dark or device). These stay on your device, are never sent to us, and you can remove them at any time by clearing your site data. They do not track you and are not cookies.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the site is used: how many people visit, which pages, from which country, on what kind of browser, and how fast pages load. Cloudflare states that this service is cookieless, does not use local storage or fingerprinting for this purpose, and does not track individual visitors across sites. We see aggregate figures only. Cloudflare is the processor of this data on our behalf; see Cloudflare's privacy policy for how it handles it.

Hosting and server logs

GlobalKit is served through Cloudflare. As with any website, your IP address and request details (page, time, browser type) are processed by Cloudflare to deliver the page and to protect the site against abuse. We do not build user profiles from this information.

AI assistants (MCP server)

GlobalKit also runs a public server at mcp.globalkit.app that lets AI assistants such as Claude or ChatGPT use our calculators and tools on your behalf. This is separate from the website. When you use a calculator on globalkit.app, what you type stays in your browser. When you ask an assistant that is connected to GlobalKit, the assistant sends the values it needs (for example an amount, a date or a short text) to our server so the result can be computed.

We use those values only to compute the answer and return it in the same request. We do not store them, we do not write them to our logs and we do not link them to you; the server has no accounts and no database. As with the website, Cloudflare processes technical request data such as your IP address and the time of the request to deliver the service and to limit abuse. What you type to the assistant itself, and what the assistant's provider does with it, is governed by that provider's privacy policy, not this one. Do not send passwords, keys or other sensitive data to the tools.

Advertising

GlobalKit is free and is meant to be supported by advertising through Google AdSense. When ads are shown, Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, and — where you agree — to personalise them. Before any advertising cookies are set, visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and other regions where consent is required will see a consent dialog from Google's Funding Choices, where you can accept, refuse or manage your choices. You can change your choice later using the privacy settings link on the site. You can also manage ad personalisation at Google's ad settings and read how Google uses data in its advertising policy. Ads never appear above the tool and never during file processing.

When you contact us

If you write to info@globalkit.app, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it only to answer you and keep it only as long as needed for that. We do not sell it or add you to any list.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EU/EEA and the UK under the GDPR, or Türkiye under the KVKK), you may have the right to know what data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to processing and to complain to your data protection authority. Since we normally hold no personal data beyond emails you send us, most requests are quickly answered: write to info@globalkit.app and tell us what you need.

Children

GlobalKit is a general-audience utility site and is not directed at children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If we change how the site handles data — for example by adding a new service — we update this page and its "last updated" date before the change takes effect.
