Take-Home Pay Calculator (Türkiye)

See your monthly net salary for all 12 months after Turkish social security, unemployment insurance, income tax and stamp tax are taken from your gross salary.

Calculated with Türkiye 2026 rules. The gross salary is assumed to stay the same from January to December.

How it works

Enter your gross monthly salary in Turkish lira. The calculator returns the net salary for each month of 2026. The first figure is the January net, followed by the average monthly net for the year and the yearly total. A table lists, month by month, the gross, social security and unemployment deductions, income tax, stamp tax and net. For each month the steps are:

social security = social security base × 14%
unemployment      = social security base × 1%
income tax base = gross − social security − unemployment

Social security and unemployment. These two deductions are taken on gross pay up to the monthly ceiling, 297,270 TRY in 2026. If your gross is above it, both deductions are calculated on the ceiling and stay flat. The result card shows a note in that case.

Income tax is cumulative. The tax is applied to the base accumulated from January to the current month, not to the month alone. The month's tax is the tax on the accumulated base minus the tax on the previous month's accumulated base. The 2026 wage tariff (General Income Tax Communiqué no. 332) is:

So even with an unchanged gross salary, the month in which your accumulated base crosses a limit has more tax and a lower net. That is how the tariff is built, not a payroll error. Only the part above the limit is taxed at the higher rate: in June in the example below, the first 20,000 TRY still falls in the 15% bracket.

The minimum-wage exemption. Earnings up to the gross minimum wage are exempt from income tax and stamp tax. The calculator first finds the tax on your own accumulated base and then subtracts the tax a minimum-wage employee would owe that month. The exemption depends on the bracket, so it is not the same every month: 4,211.33 TRY from January to June, 4,537.75 TRY in July and 5,615.10 TRY from August to December. In July the minimum-wage earner's accumulated base moves from the 15% bracket into 20%, so the exemption takes an in-between value that month. From August it is fully at 20% and larger. Your own bracket moves on its own schedule, which is why July and August nets move in different directions.

Stamp tax. Stamp tax is 0.759% of gross pay. The part that belongs to the minimum wage (250.70 TRY a month) is exempt and is deducted from the amount.

Why the minimum wage nets exactly 28,075.50 TRY. The 2026 gross minimum wage is 33,030.00 TRY. Social security of 4,624.20 TRY and unemployment of 330.30 TRY come off, leaving a base of 28,075.50 TRY. The calculated income tax equals the exemption exactly, so no income tax is payable, and stamp tax is exempt too. The net minimum wage stays at 28,075.50 TRY in every month.

Rounding. Amounts are handled as whole kuruş, not decimals. The tariff is computed exactly, then each month's social security, unemployment, tax and exemption is rounded once to the kuruş (half up). In every row the net plus the five deductions equals the gross to the kuruş.

The calculation follows Türkiye's 2026 rules. Rates, tariff and limits live in a separate data file with their sources and are updated every January.

Examples

40,000 TRY gross. Social security 5,600.00 TRY, unemployment 400.00 TRY, base 34,000.00 TRY. Stamp tax is 303.60 − 250.70 = 52.90 TRY. Income tax and net change through the year:

The yearly net is 392,586.43 TRY, an average of 32,715.54 TRY a month. Income tax for the year is 14,778.77 TRY and stamp tax 634.80 TRY.

50,000 TRY gross, January. Social security 7,000.00 TRY, unemployment 500.00 TRY, base 42,500.00 TRY. Tax of 6,375.00 TRY less the exemption leaves 2,163.67 TRY of income tax; stamp tax is 128.80 TRY. Net: 40,207.53 TRY.
